Where did summer go? It went by so fast. It was a great summer though.

The weather was hot and perfect. We were out in the boat just about every day/evening.



We did a lot of traveling around Michigan so i could see it. It is very beautiful here. Our garden turned out great.........we did over 100 quarts of tomatoes. We need to move some stuff around for next year but it turned out all and all pretty good. My flowers were fantastic. My rose gardend turned out so pretty.



I did a lot of things i have never done before. Being married to a redneck (outdoors country boy) has made it very interesting that is for sure lol



Our gardens are slowly dieing off now but my roses are still holding out pretty good. Plus hubbys "medical" plants are doing great too.... We are allowed legally to have 12 plants so that is cool.



This past year has been so great........i am married to a man who loves me with all his heart and treats me like i am a queen. I cant ask for anything better than that.



We were supose to go to BC the end of summer to get the rest of my stuff but we ended up having to postpone that trip till spring now.

We wanted to wait till all the garden was done but now it is getting too late into the year and i really dont want to have to drive thru the mts with snow anytime thru there.



At least it was for a good reason that we did not go. Tom is a master electrician and had his own business but things are slow in Michigan right now for work so we expanded his business to TNT Electric & Home Renos .....i am lucky Tom knows how to do everything when working on a house from the inside out. I am the accountand plus he is teaching me how to do some of the stuff with him. It is nice to be able to go to work with him.



Things have been great for me this past year for me...........i cant believe we were married a year June and working towards 2nd year and we are still as happy as day one.



We have a date night every sat night where we always go do something just the 2 of us and spend time together. Tom tries to make it romantic every time but sometimes it is just going up to the pub for dinner and playing pool.



Now that summer is over and the boat is put away for the winter and we are getting our yard winterized ( 5 acres takes a lot to get ready lol) i can not wait to see what the fall and winter have for me.



I know i am babbling a lot but it has been a lot of years since i have been this happy and had someone love me and care for me as much i have this past year and i hope it never changes *smile*
